This is “Kobey-Rose” my two year old pied French Bulldog. She is the first dog I have had in my adult life, and she has opened a whole new world for me. What a “celebupup” she has become! It all started with this photo that was taken at her first black-tie event…a special art gala for dogs at Spike Gallery in New York City. It was here that she was interviewed for Animal Planet and photographed for N.Y.Dog Magazine. She was then featured on “K9 Karma” a reality show also on Animal Planet. And recently she was on the Martha Stewart Show and Jay Leno’s Tonight Show.
She hosts the monthly meetups for “French Bulldog NYC” of which I am the organizer, and her exploits’s are written up by me, in “Just Frenchies Magazine” quite often. She even has her own page on Google!
I named her in honor of my dearly departed Mother…Kobey is a family name and Rose was her middle name, and I know Mother would get a kick out of her name sakes fun adventures. – David Ray

Thanks David – I needed this drawing! I wanted to just have fun tonight, so Kobey-Rose was the obvious choice for subject matter. She’s looks like she’s 100% party animal. I hope you enjoy this portrait as much as I did drawing it…

For those of you wondering, I believe that’s a feather boa around her neck. Or maybe a feather collar…
